Patrick Oliver Sussex & Kent - Selling and Renting Properties Online since 2016

Posted on 20th June 2020

Patrick Oliver has had some changes recently, and I'm pleased to say that we are doing brilliantly in the last 2 months!

I'd like to introduce Paula Chinnery, who is our new Sales & Client Relations Manager. With over 20 years experience in Interior Design and Property, Paula brings to us her A Game when it comes to buying and selling properties locally in East Sussex and Kent. If you sign up to us to sell your home this Summer, you will be amazed at her natural rapport and sales skills with buyers relocating to the area, as well as charisma with our clients.

Mike Rosenberg has been our handyman and holiday let maintenance man for over 18 months. Recently, Mike R joined us officially as our Office & Maintenance Manager. Always willing to go the extra mile with a smile, and cheerful can-do attitude, we are exceptionally grateful that Mike accepted the role this Spring. If you're having problems with keys, gardens, or kitchen appliances, there's no better man to have on the end of the phone!

Our special Irish charm is also a strong member of our team (Sales & Lettings Key Agent), with a friendly face and winning words when it comes to helping newcomers to the area, whether it be to buy or rent. Beverley will be out there this Summer, meeting and greeting, showing Londoners, and Down From/Across From areas, why St Leonards and our south coast is the BEST PLACE TO LIVE 2020 and beyond!

The latest property related news from P.O.S.K. (Patrick Oliver Sussex & Kent), is that we've had 4 new rentals agreed, and a gorgeous two bedroom garden flat under offer from first time buyers. We've got two new instructions for sale to go on the market, each with their own unique appeal for those wanting to live by the sea, and join our fabulous local community.

Why I love Hastings and St Leonards?

The 2.5 mile stretch of cycle path along the sea front, which is perfect for a 30 minute run, 40 minute walk, or 20 minute cycle down to the Old Town.

The pebble beach with its ever changing tides and seascapes, which is inviting all year round for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, snorkelling, and BBQs.

The friendly locals who are always happy to stop for a chat with new and old friends.

The history, architecture and design of James and Decimus Burton's St Leonards on Sea vs Hastings in the 19th century, is what makes Warrior Square, St Leonards Gardens, Gensing Gardens, and Alexandra Park, so fabulous to have on our doorstep around this superb town.

The fantastic choices of cafes, book shops, antique stores, interior design SHOPS, hairdressers, restaurants, and bars. My faves include, The Edge St Leonards, The SHOP, Bella Vista, Bonjour, Pizzarelli, and all the local independent shops around town.

From the Old Town fishing huts and along to West St Leonards Fruit and Veg shop, the magical make up of this town, is why the sales and rental market is just bustling to get going again when COVID-19 has eased up, and we can go back to our healthy, happy, and peaceful way of life down in Hastings & St Leonards on Sea.
